The garden in July!!!

We have really been slacking on our vegetable garden this year, but our flower garden looks pretty nice. Our property is about a month behind everyone else so a lot of my bigger flowering perennials haven't started their show yet, but a few of the smaller things have.

Ligularia stenocephala 'The Rocket'

I'm not sure what this is called. It was some random old seed pack I had that I put along our rock wall. It makes a nice little ground cover

California poppy, ours are pinkish orange instead of carrot orange like normal

Here's one of our roosters. He's and Australorpe. He enjoys following me around in the garden, seeing how he can make a mess of what I'm doing.

Bean and Waffles enjoying some fresh field grass

Nepeta aka cat mint. These plants are great they come up early in the season and flower tons of little purple flowers which the bees and butterflies love. The cats like to eat it too:)

One of my clumps of day lilies. I'm not sure what cultivar it is though, any thoughts?
